How to ask for help at Calmthy Farm
If a guide does not work for you, if you are missing a detail about planting, composting, or preserving, or if you want to add your letter to the readers' section, there are specific ways to write to us. There are no automated forms or instant replies: we read messages when we can, between farm visits and closing articles.
Write by email
Email is the most direct way to ask about guides, corrections, or topic suggestions. Tell us which season you are working in and which part of the garden, the chicken coop, or the compost bin is giving you trouble. If your question is about a specific article, mention the title so we can find it faster.

Call or leave a message
For rural schedule matters, workshops, or guided visits to nearby farms, the phone is useful for leaving a brief message. We want to be clear that there is no permanent availability: if we do not answer, it is best to write by email with the details, and we will wait until we can return the call.

Postal mail
We also receive letters from readers by postal mail, especially when they come with garden photos or long stories that do not fit well in a message. The address is the same as the one on the contact page.

Before writing, check the FAQ
Many repeated questions are already answered: how the weekly newsletter is organized, what kind of letters we publish, how topics are chosen by season, and what to expect from a guided visit. If your question is not there, then do write to us and we will add it to the list.
